Charming Rustic Cottage Nesting Spot for Backyard Birds!
Cedar Point Cottage Bird House - Blend bright, natural colors with rustic architecture and a functional bird shelter when you showcase the Cedar Point Cottage Bird House in your yard. Adorable, all wood bird shelter sits on a 7.125" diameter base, painted to look like a log slice for a fun effect. Routed, horizontal lines throughout the body of the home mimic wooden planks. Pitched and lapped roof with bold, green finish brings striking color to the item. Dark brown accents like a wood pile, table, and pots holding faux trees enhance the tan body. Additional green trim and white hints on the faux door and window frames lend brightness to the shelter. Birds can access the nesting cavity via a 1.25" diameter entry hole beneath the roof overhang. A back panel can be unscrewed for seasonal maintenance. Hang this shelter using the attached metal cable. Add a mounting bracket (not included) to the base to post or pole mount this home. All wood construction forms a fun, nature-inspired nesting site.
Note: Climate and the elements will weather this home and change its appearance over time; however, weathering will add to the item's natural charm without compromising its function. Should you want to preserve the finish (paint) of this house, you should cover it with several layers of a polyurethane product that is recommended for marine use (UV Rated) that will not turn the white paint yellow. You should expect that once left outside, the item will weather and require refinishing.
