Esschert Barn Owl Nesting Box - Invite beautiful barn owls to roost near you using the Esschert Design Barn Owl House. These wonderful birds will readily use a manmade home, and bring natural pest control to your land. This generous, pine roost has a 4.75" wide and 6" tall, rectangular opening which entices the birds to enter, and a slight partition creating two chambers. This divider rests next to the opening, forming a small front apartment so the birds may act as a lookout or eat their prey. This section leads to the deep interior compartment, where the owls can build their nest and raise their young. A flat, metal roof completes the unit, and its silver color offsets the soft green of the home. Attach the flat back to your barn, ensuring its opening remains protected from bright evening lights. For more options, rest the flat base of the item on a level surface inside your barn. The two smaller, side panels both hinge upward for nest checks, and a gap at the top of each panel keeps the home well ventilated. A latch helps these panels remain closed, and a small hole near this helps you lift each section for nest checks or maintenance. The slatted pine construction lasts for many seasons, while the soft green tone adds visibility against your wall or in your barn. Provide a fantastic roosting spot for select birds of prey by adding this Barn Owl House to your setting.
