Brilliantly accent your garden or flowerbed with sophisticated style!

Cast Iron Armillary Sundial with Starburst - Add worldly style and timekeeping to your landscaping with this Cast Iron Armillary Sundial with Starburst. These accents were used in centuries past to showcase the movements of different heavenly bodies around the earth, and the detailing on this unit is sure to bring a timeless hint to your garden. A 9.5" diameter, cast iron base sports the cardinal directions around it, along with a stylized globe section, complete with impressed latitude and longitude lines. A curved arm extends upward from this base, supporting a disc with a center starburst and 9.75" diameter ring of Roman numerals. A 17" long, cast iron arrow keeps this dial nicely in place, and acts as a gnomon for a fantastic timepiece when oriented celestial north. The dark brown finish sports black accents for a bit of depth, wonderfully enhancing the point and fletching on the arrow. Crafted from hardy cast iron, this ornate piece looks great for many seasons, and its significant base can be placed on a pedestal, column, or level spot in your yard easily. The open ring with center starburst accent lends a delicate hint to this unit, contrasting its hardy construction. Brilliantly accent your garden or flowerbed with sophisticated style using this Cast Iron Armillary Sundial with Starburst. Assembly required.
