From our Cottage Charmer Series, The Windy Ridge Birdhouse has a genuine black, pine shingled roof, a removable back wall for easy cleaning, a 1 1/4" entry hole to an unpainted nest box, ventilation and drainage holes. Features a stone chimney with chimney cap, matching birdhouse decoration, chopping block, wood pile, rain barrel, and inlaid, river stone walls.
Comes with a mounting plate that allows easy placement on a wooden 4" X 4" post and an ingenious steel cable to hang the house.
Constructed of exterior grade ply-board, poly resin details, pine shingles for the roof and a non-toxic outdoor paint. To preserve the natural beauty, we recommend applying a non-yellowing polyurethane finish over the paint.
Climate and the elements will weather the house and change its appearance over time; however, weathering will add to the house’s natural charm without compromising its function.
