Attract beneficial colonizing bats to your yard!
Bat Conservation International Certified!
The Conservation Bat Tower features 3 chambers and an attic space that hold 50 bats. With its versatility and rugged construction, this bat house will provide a safe haven for your local bats. The latest research indicates that the most successful bat houses are mounted on buildings or on freestanding poles. The innovative Bat Tower design provides the versatility of being mounted directly on a 4x4 post or on a purple martin pole. The post or pole actually becomes the landing platform, and from there bats are able to climb easily into the house. The internal chambers and attic provide multiple roosting opportunities in which bats may move according to their preference. The inside slats are rough cut wood to make it easy for bats to cling when climbing and roosting. Two inside slats divide the house into three chambers, two of which measure 7/8" deep and one that measures 1 7/8" deep. One side of the Bat Tower serves as an access door, which opens to observe the colony and quell the curiosity of the serious bat enthusiast. This house may be mounted on a 4 x 4 post through pre-drilled holes or on any purple martin pole with a 1.25" to 1.375" outside diameter. Quality Eastern White Pine Construction. Proudly handcrafted in the USA!
